Katherine Bogardus Trust
Borrowers must be DeWitt County residents or a descendant of Katherine Bogardus’ first cousins. Loans are granted to pay tuition, fees, room, and board at any accredited college, university, or trade school. Interest is at the rate of 3.00% per annum, and it begins accruing when funds are borrowed. The maximum lending limit to any student is $20,000.00. Loans are made in increments of $2,500 with a maximum of $10,000 per semester. Repayment begins no later than six months after graduation or termination of schooling and is to be completed within 10 years.
Students who are interested in applying should contact Sue Sheley at 217-735-7112, extension 5327, or via email at [email protected] to request an application. If students would like to visit with Susan in person regarding the program, they may request an appointment to meet her at the Heartland Bank and Trust Wealth Management office in Lincoln. We suggest to students that they submit their completed application four weeks prior to the date their tuition is due.

Fayetta Isaac's Trust is offering financial aid to students with A & B grade scores while in high school. Students can go to any college, trade school in Illinois. This aid is up to $5,000.00 per semester with 4% interest, It can be up to 8 semesters and would have up to 10 years for return payment. Any students interested please contact me. I am trustee for her trust.
